Beatriz Costa (1996) é uma violinista portuguesa que se tem vindo a dedicar às práticas da música erudita contemporânea.

Frequenta o mestrado em Perfomance Musical no Conservatório Real de Bruxelas (Bélgica). Realizou o curso secundário (violino) no Conservatório Nacional (Lisboa) e a licenciatura (violino) na ESART (Castelo Branco). Participou em estágios com o Ensemble Modern (Alemanha), Ensemble Fractales (Bélgica) e o Ensemble Horizonte (Alemanha). 

Com a contrabaixista Mariana Fernandes, integra o C O N T I N U U M D U O, selecionado pelo Divertimento Ensemble (Itália) para integrar o projeto “Young Performers in Digital Stage” e atualmente num projeto de criação e encomendas apoiado pelo Ministério da Cultura - Governo de Portugal. 

Colabora em projetos artísticos com o Festival DME, Ensemble DME, EMSCAN, Lisboa Incomum, e outras entidades.

Recentemente, foi-lhe atribuída a Bolsa Jovens Criadores 2021, pelo Centro Nacional de Cultura.

Beatriz Costa (1996) is a Portuguese violinist who has been dedicating to the practices of contemporary music.

She is attending a Masters in Musical Performance at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium). She took a secondary course (violin) at the National Conservatory (Lisbon) and a degree (violin) at ESART (Castelo Branco). She participated in internships with Ensemble Modern (Germany), Ensemble Fractales (Belgium) and Ensemble Horizonte (Germany).

With the double-bassist Mariana Fernandes, she’s part of the C O N T I N U M D U O, selected by the Divertimento Ensemble (Italy) to be part of the “Young Performers in Digital Stage” project and currently in a creation and commission project supported by the Ministry of Culture - Government of Portugal.

She collaborates on artistic projects with Festival DME, Ensemble DME, EMSCAN, Lisboa Incomum, and other entities.

He was recently awarded the 2021 Young Creators Scholarship by the National Culture Center (Portugal).
